Psalm 106:2 Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
or fully declare his praise?
The answer to this question is obvious, and is implied in the very asking of it: nobody. We can’t even know all that God has done, so how can we proclaim it to others? The point is to have our eyes, ears, and hearts open all the time to recognize what God has done and is doing, and give Him the praise for it all.
Having had hernia surgery under general anesthesia yesterday, I’m not in good shape at this point. But whatever shape I’m in, I can choose to keep my focus on my Lord, and give Him the praise and glory that He alone deserves.
Father, thank You for getting me through the surgery. Thank You that You are going to get me through the recovery period, however long it takes and whatever is involved. May I be Your agent through it all, that those around me may be drawn to You through me, for their salvation and Your glory. Thank You. Hallelujah!
