Hi! Thanks for reading my blog. I’m what is called a Third Culture Kid, because I was born and raised in Japan of American missionary parents. TCK’s create their own culture as a synthesis of heir parents’ culture and the culture of their environment. I’m proof that you can be a grandfather and still be a kid! Raised in a missionary family, I’ve been steeped in the Bible from infancy, and my life has been a journey of learning to apply it. I’m far from perfect, but it is a joy to me to share with you some of the things God shows me day by day.

I saw your most recent post and that you mentioned the Japanese word for ‘cute.’ In Chinese it’s the same, pronounced “ke’ai” and I imagine the Chinese characters and Japanese kanji are the same. Anyway, I’ve always liked this literal translation too.
